CHIC VINTAGE RED FELT FEDORA WITH BLACK FEATHER BAND + TWISTED CUTOUTS ON CROWN

This is a special vintage fedora from designer Henry Margu. It is made of red felt, and it consists of a short brim and an indented crown where there are multiple twisted cutouts edged in a shiny black fabric band. The crown is surrounded by a band made of black feathers. In 1951, Henry & William Margu established a woman's hat shop on 60th street in West Philadelphia located on the ground floor of their residence. Milliners (as they were called) high fashion hats all manufactured at this establishment. It was at that time that Henry Margu, Inc. was established and incorporated. This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years.
