CHIC 1940s' BLACK FELT ASYMMETRICAL HAT WITH FABRIC BOW & CRIN SPRAY

This is a beautiful 1940s' vintage back felt hat, which consist of a rounded crown surrounded by an upturned and asymmetrical brim. The brim is trimmed with a wide satiny fabric band, which ends in a beautiful large satiny fabric bow at one side. A spray of crin finishes the look. Crin, also known as crinoline or horsehair, is a net-like material, easy to mold and is often used in the decoration of clothing, hats and accessories. The label is small, white and blue and most of the time it states the hat size…22 or 23. This is an authentic piece of fashion history!
