CHANEL Vintage Lambskin Chevron V Stitch Shoulder Tote Burgundy

Vintage Chanel chevron V-stitch shopper shoulder bag tote, with top zippered closure and original CC gold ball zipper pull, in burgundy lambskin. Made in Italy. Seven digit serial number beginning with “2” (1991-1994). Bag has two full size exterior slip pockets and two interior zippered pockets. Zippers function properly. Bag has been cleaned inside and out. No holes, tears or significant rubs/scuffs detected. Cosmetically, there are some light marks on lining, bottom of bag, and very light color fade to one bottom corner. Minimal wear to shoulder straps, if any. PLEASE NOTE: The interior has been wiped several times, but there is a grittiness (like fine sand) that keeps returning to the lining surface, most notably inside the zippered pockets. My theory is that interfacing adhesive under the leather trim above the interior pockets has deteriorated, and the particles (like very fine sand) are “leaking” from the seam above the pockets. Not surprising for a 30+ year old bag! If I were keeping the bag, I would seal the seam with a bead of flexible glue to stop this annoyance.
