CHANEL Round Crossbody Bag in Quilted Satin

Introduced by Gabrielle Chanel to guarantee the quality and durability of leather bags, diamond quilting has become one of Chanel's signatures. On this rounded crossbody bag, circa 1989-1991, the traditional black leather is replaced with soft satin, showcasing the model's signature leather and chain-link shoulder strap and the iconic interlocking CC stitch. Its most distinctive feature is the large, black tassle with gold embellishment. This pre-owned bag has a zip closure on top and one zippered pocket inside. The bag's serial number, located inside the interior pocket, is 19977599. The outside of the bag is in excellent condition, with one tiny, faint lipstick mark at the top right of the bag as you face it (see photos). Inside the bag there are also several, small lipstick marks (see photos). The bag measures 24" from the top of the strap to the bottom of the bag. The bag itself is 5" round and 1.5" deep. This bag was purchased at the downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus store by the seller and rarely used.
