@stephiev123 all our Chanel products are completely authentic.
this item was a special gift to a very select number of people who attended an haute couture show during the 90's. it was a collection designed by the ultimate Renaissance man, Karl Lagerfeld.
the parasol is unique, it was never recreated, never re-issued.

@annylou thank you for responding so quickly! I looked into the parasol alittle bit myself! I see that the umbrella was given to the audience as a favor in the ready to wear spring summer of 2006. I came across some pictures of the parasols laid out on the seats of the audience. As well as people holding them in the background of vogue covering this walk!
