1msirizarry @larainebrain Sorry-- did not mean to insult! You didn't respond to one of the queries that asks about a gold chain at the bottom of the blazer, which is characteristic of authentic pieces. Does it have one? Also, do you have a sense of what year the piece is from? Is there piling on the fabric? Finally, is it possible to add a clearer photo of the label?

larainebrain @1msirizarry there is no gold chain as the garment is trimmed in sliver. It's roughly from 1999 and the previous owner is a family friend who is a senators wife. Absolutely authentic.

larainebrain @1msirizarry also, the chain is indicative of a blazers authenticity, this is a v neck without a collar. I can post a close up of the tag. The reason I didn't respond to the previous comment referring to said "chain" is because that posher was harassing me and has since been blocked. This will be for sale only until the next time I go to NYC and can consign it at a upscale vintage boutique. Thank you for your interest.

1msirizarry Sorry for so many questions, it's just that this is a big buy for me and I want to be sure before I make the investment. Sorry also if my question about authenticity offended you. Had some bad luck with a purchase previously 😖 ...a lot of counterfeits out there, and I assumed inauthenticity when I made my first offer.
