lilladymouse I am a size 4 in pants (at Cato), these are pretty loose on me in both the legs and waist, so I would say yes I believe they are true to size... here is a Size Chart from the brands website, hopefully that gives you a better idea: https://www.catofashions.com/info/size-chart.
