This 1999 HC book edition of the CAT IN THE DARK - A JOE GREY MYSTERY - SHIRLEY ROUSSEAU MURPHY, is in good condition, a library edition, however, showing some moderate to color fading & browning as noted. The original library markings seen at the 1st page & last page are all covered in a clean white sticker. The dust cover jacket is in good condition, showing some light scuff line, at the front/back cover & in super high gloss color sheen. The edges perimeter will show some scuff & creases at the corners of the spine. The actual HC book has a color of black & red with a smooth finish. The original library reinforced tape residue will be seen at the top/bottom center edges of the front/back cover. Moderate browning is seen in all internal pages due to the age of this book. 2 brown spots are seen at the 1st/2nd pages, possibly liquid coffee blotches. A partial liquid damage is seen at the bottom corner of the spine, however did not penetrate the entire internal pages. A black marker line is seen at the top edge of the book (Not shown on this listing) This HC book edition has a good-very good structural condition, showing no tearing or any writings seen in the pages.
