CARNIVAL Drinking Straws Supra Plastic Squash Proof Vtg 80s Straws in Box. This vintage 1980 box of red striped/blue striped drinking straws originally held 100 "CARNIVAL" brand straws. However, a few of the straws were used and I counted only 70 straws. As stated on the pkg., they were "Supra Plastic, squash-proof for soft drinks, iced drinks, milk." c.1980, National Soda Straw, Div. of Harvel Inds., Wheeling, IL 60090. The straws are still usable and the box with the CARNIVAL clown illustration/logo is in good vintage condition. Great for collectors of drinking straws, CARNIVAL brand products, or vintage product collections. Stored in a drawer in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home. Each straw measures 10" long X 1/8" diameter (25.54cm Long X .318cm Diameter).
