Camper will say a 39 can be an 8 or 8.5 depending and in my experience of wearing Camper for years it depends upon the model. In this case I confidently can attest having tried them on they are a perfect fit for a USA 8 or a UK 6. Good for the delicate foot they are for a regular sized foot but don't pinch at all so can be worn comfortably and that's their key, comfort. These are extremely well made with fastening in the back to secure you and a moderate though no high heel. The 'clog' part is relatively thick but not overly heavy and the leather is soft and flexible though not too much. It still retains shape and structure well. These shoes are no longer sold and are brand new and hard to find - they're perfect for that Japan chic or wearing with wide legged pants and looking completely fabulous. I have sold many Campers over the years and attest these are in perfect condition without any issues whatsoever.
