C.1911 Antique Arts & Crafts Mvmt., Hammered-Copper Oval Tray w/Fishtail Handles

This Hammered-Copper Oval Tray, w/ Curled-Edge Fishtail Handles was entirely Handcrafted during the era of the Arts & Crafts Movement in America, C.1911. Cut and worked by hand from a single sheet of pure 12-gauge Copper, the craftsman spent many hours alternately hammering then heating the metal to arrive at this finished, decorated, Oval Shape. Previous auction sticker attached. The Arts & Crafts Movement Copper Tray/Platter is in excellent condition with no discernable flaw. Some wear present, consistent with age and use. Approximately 12" long x 6.5" wide x 1" high. It has a depth of about .75" with an approximate .5" decorated lip. Ideal Centerpiece for Fruit, Bread, Cheeses, Crudites, hors d'oeuvre Great addition to any home, office, or Antique Copper collection. A fine gift idea, too.
