You would need to re-hem, taking it up by about 1". Most maxi dresses need to be re-hemmed anyways to fit the customer, so I did not get this repaired. Due to this rip, I am listing this dress far below retail. The Satin Gown is cut in a soft and shiny FSC certified viscose quality. It has a maxi length, fitted waistline made of gathers, and elbow length sleeves with volume and smocking as cuffs. The dress has a round neckline with a button in the front, so it can be worn opened or closed, and buttons from below the chest down the front.
