jespassingthru
Hi, could you provide the waist measurement please?

rcr15
@jespassingthru I’d be happy to! Just give me a moment and I will post it 😊

@jespassingthru I just posted pics with the measurements. I am 5’10” and have a 40in waist, if that helps give you an idea on sizing.

Oops I meant 40in hip and 30in waist

Okay this will totally date me, but I didn't even know this brand still existed! I just remember in junior high Esprit bookbags we're the ”it” item! So were Guess jeans and white less. Adorable skirt and the brand just flooded me with Esprit teen memories!

@lafemmeparis26 hahaha, I totally get your reference! I loved this brand too. But I want to let you know that I was late in sending out the first package because I was out of town closing on a new house. So I have a ton of my things in moving boxes. I think this skirt way packed away in one of them. I can mark the item as “not for sale” and if I do find it while unpacking I can message you. I just can’t remember if I had donated it. I apologize.

My apologies, I thought this was a listing in your bundle 🤦🏻♀️. I hadn’t clicked on the notification to see the details.

@rcr15 lol, I almost added it!
No worries as I wasn't in a rush to get the items. Congrats on the house, I know how stressful and exciting it can be as we just moved this last September and buying in this market is crazy.

We have bought a lot of homes and though we were experienced but nothing like this market. I still have boxes of clothes to list that I thought id would get to before moving and it didn't happen so now 7 months later I still have boxes. Esprit is still very European chick❤️ just a fun brand w/ teen fashionista memories!

@lafemmeparis26 thank you for the kind words! Yes, it has been very stressful, and exciting. I didn’t realize how many things I’ve accumulated over the years until this move. But I know once I’m all settled in, it will be worth it. Although, I may take a page out of your book, in terms of unpacking 😂.

@rcr15 whatever you do don't let the movers unpack your closet! We did that and it was a nightmare. I still find things of my husbands hidden between dresses or pajamas randomly stuffed in a pocket. They say it takes an average of a year to completely unpack and find permanent homes for things. We are military and have moved a lot.

My husband is a physician in Navy and getting ready to retire next summer, so we will move again most likely. I love this house we are in, so sad as we just bought this one. We are hoping to move back to west coast where we are from, closer to family. Our 4 boys don't want to move though. Plus you get more house out here than back in Washington state. We have 6k sq ft. It's rare to find homes that size back there.

Just don't stress and enjoy the settling in! It will all come together! Thanks again for everything! Happy decorating and making it your own. Congrats again.

@lafemmeparis26 this message made me laugh! I will definitely make sure I’m overseeing the “closet” boxes. Please thank your husband for his service! And also thank you to you and your boys for sacrificing your time with him, so he could protect our country! ♥️🤍💙

Being a physician taking care of our military members makes him a hero and a serviceman. I am glad that he is ready to retire and that you guys can enjoy having him back home. Hopefully, wherever you guys go, you all will be happy!

@lafemmeparis26 I wish I could say I am moving to a property on all that land, but it’s a 3,250 square foot house on an acre. I’m just excited that it’s close to the Blue Ridge Mountains. So I can’t complain too much.

rcr15
@lafemmeparis26 thank you for the well wishes. I am sure it will be a fun experience when it’s all said and done 😊.

@rcr15 the blue ridge mountains are gorgeous. We have almost an acre and it's perfect size, enough to feel the space but not be overwhelmed with landscaping and yard work. Thank you, the military has been good to us and we have met so many incredible souls during this journey. He used to fly jets for Navy

But he decided to go to medical school after our 2nd son was born. He did it and was the oldest student in his class. I opened a coffee shop across from campus and loved spoiling all the med students. It's been a journey w/Navy and so ready to be closer to family. We will be happy wherever we go and no more deployments. Just glad pandemic has slow down and we see him more lately. Thanks again

@rcr15 thank you so much! yes movers and Packers are typically men. They will box up your trash if left inside of your trash cans. Not much commen sense but they were a good crew and we fed and tipped them well as they worked hard.

Our last move took 3 days even though the houses were 20min. apart. They stayed late til midnight putting our kids beds together so my kids could sleep in their new rooms then returned early the next day to finish up job. It's exhausting for all but so worth it if had wanted the move and your excited for it

It's a crazy ride! Have fun and if you can move or pack your favorite valuable or knick knacks you treasure and put them in your car or supervise the packing, that' and the closet my only moving advice, even though you never asked🤪 military moves make you experience or hear a lot of moving woes, whoops and sorry this just broke or went missing experiences! The wives always pass on the moving advice to friends, we don't want you to find out the hard way. So advice given from the heart of caring.

@lafemmeparis26 that sounds like a very cool job. I have always loved going on airplanes and traveling. I am glad he found his passion.

@lafemmeparis26 do you still have the coffee shop? I am sure they all loved you. Coffee and schooling goes hand in hand.

@lafemmeparis26 wow, they really were hard working! I’m sure this will be a process. In 2020, I moved 5 times within the year for work and to tend to my mom who was undergoing cancer treatment. So I am just glad that I will have a house to settle into for now, that is close by to her. Thankfully, she caught it early enough and is back to her usual self 😍.

@lafemmeparis26 I greatly appreciate all of your advice and I will definitely follow your suggestions. You made me laugh in the comment about movers being men, and that they’d even pack trash if left in trash cans. You’re right, common sense isn’t so common. But all of these experiences have allowed you to share your wisdom with people like me. Thank you! ☺️
Also, I sent out the package earlier today ♥️
