@cle529 in 1996 she set up a studio in her garage; shortly after that she got a contract with a SOHO retailer and her business exploded. she opened showrooms in LA in 2004 and NY in 2005. if you have early pieces, her company may want to buy them from you, or at least take photos of them in case anyone ever writes a book! here's a link to a story about her on Boston University's website https://www.bu.edu/questrom/profile/chan-luu/
