Buffalo/Indian Head Nickel Necklace

The Buffalo Nickel, or Indian Head Nickel, was a coin circulated by the United States from 1913-1938. Designed by James Earle Fraser, it was released as part of a movement to improve the beauty of US currency. The obverse of the coin features a bust of a Native American man, and the reverse features a strong American Bison.
