Budlong, Docherty & Armstrong 10k gold. screw-back earrings Overall size: 2cm x 1.85cm x 1.3cm Stone: 8mm x 5mm 3.5g total weight Budlong, Docherty & Armstrong was a prominent, higher end jewelry company based in Providence, RI between 1850 and 1971. The quality of their work still commands higher prices in the industry as these are pieces that will last a lifetime and be able to be passed down. 10k gold, acid tested. The stones are untested. My best guesses as to what the stones are: synthetic ruby, rubellite, pink spinel, pink sapphire or pink tourmaline. These are a lovely example of their work and are in amazing. Nearly pristine condition for being 50+ years old. Recently, similar earrings have sold between $95 and $148 with much smaller stones.
