I love ren faires and pirate festivals, and have produced many custom pirate hats for myself and family members over the years, but really - how many pirate hats does one need? Just one more, says I! So I keep turning boring hats into fun pirate hats, and this one can be yours - what say you? Not the costume store variety hat that is stiff and uncomfortable, this gorgeous camel/tan wool hat is soft and made to wear for more than trick-or-treating. Trimmed with black cord and ivory lace, the 5” brim is cocked up and securely laced with waxed cotton cord to form this classic tricorn pirate hat. Embellished with a black ostrich plume and a cluster of gold/green/brown feathers for extra flair. A black faux gemstone compass-like brooch adorns one side. Ready to go on your next adventure as is, or add your own bit of shine with another fancy brooch or pin, medallions, draped pearls or more feathers. The feathers are removable, secured into a metal aglet and tucked into the hatband. One size, 100% wool felt.
