The midsoles, collar foams, and sock liners are completely biodegradable. The Brooks Green Silence road-running shoes boast 75% post-consumer recycled material construction and are phenomenally lightweight with a cushy ride to make race day just that much better. Classic shoe. 9 oz. A bit too small for me. (I wear a Men's size 11). So I only wore them a few times.
