willswoolens @grantr2 Hey, I believe the closest Alden loafer is the 981. I know above I mentioned it was a Copley last but that was a mistake. They’re most likely a van last.

willswoolens @grantr2 Sorry for the late update. The length of the insole is ~11 7/8” and the width of the outsole is 4 3/8”.

willswoolens @jcm8k They could be, but aside from that one site that’s the only place that claims it’s a Copley. Structurally they look like 981’s which are on the van last.

jcm8k @willswoolens Yeah, I hear ya'. Checking Styleforum and AAAC, it looks like Alden made both Van and Copley-lasted calfskin LHS for BB, so that's confusing. Have you seen a site saying they were Van? I ask because I dig the Van fit and would auto-buy if I could confirm that.

willswoolens @jcm8k I wish I knew for certain. I’m saying they’re van lasted because these appear to be crafted similar to current Alden 981 loafers that are on a van last, but like you said they could be either. Let me know if you want more measurements or info.
