Brighton Necklace, Bird Necklace

This Vintage Brighton Necklace is a one of a kind piece of jewelry made with parts from a beautiful buckle from a vintage Brighton Belt and a darling red robin that has been rescued from a china plate and set in a silver bezel with a small pearl. The 22 " chain is from a vintage Brighton Chain belt and closes with a lobster clasp. The buckle measures 2" wide X 2 3/4" long. Brighton's buckles, jewelry, chain and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening. ✨✨✨CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To keep your jewelry shiny and beautiful, please avoid harsh detergents, Swimming pool, seawater and perfume & lotion. Please bear in mind that this is silver plate and may occasionally need to be buffed with a soft cloth to keep its shine. Keeping it wrapped in a cloth bag will also protect from tarnishing. Always put your jewelry on last and take it off first.
