@krisgkara hi I will check in a little while and get back to you. It was too big for me even with those measurements. I don’t know what the deal was. What are your measurements? I’m a costume designer I can re-measure it and let you know if I think it will work or not, and I will also check if there is a seam allowance.

@krisgkara I bet your bustfits no problem, because of the room in the cups ! And I will remeasure the true waist. And I will double check the seam allowance for you, I would bet that there is extra just knowing how wedding dresses are constructed, but I will double check.

@krisgkara ok!! So!! The waist actually measures more like 13.5. AND instead of a standard.5/8ths of a side seam allowance there’s about 1 1/4” you can easily let it out an inch on each side. I could sort of see through the lining that the seam allowance looked wide. So, I opened up the side seen a couple inches just to look inside and get a measurement.

Depending on your bust size, you may or may not have to let that out. The cups were too big for me! Lol this is a stunning dress! I almost wore this one, but my husband and I are dancers and I could not bear cutting the train off and shortening this beauty!

The original listing has this as a size 4/6. I would say it’s more of a 6 with that extra seam allowance. As a seamstress myself, I am confident that someone who works on wedding dresses could easily make this fit you!!

I purchased three vintage dresses, and I have to tell you between the three of them. They were all so much prettier than anything I saw in the store that was modern!
Although I did not wear this dress, I think the young lady I bought it from wore it for her wedding.
