@pheonix1 a true black diamond is $3,000 minimum for a TINY stone because it contains osbornite-a mineral otherwise found only in meteors, suggesting they originated in outer space.
As an Alaskan myself, going between my NY : AK homes, these are either colored stones or if from AK, Hematite, pyrite or mixed stone shined up for the tourist shops. It's still a very pretty stone and this is a decent price.
