Size: 8" wide x 15" long Message from the artist: I've always loved rocks and I've always loved design. It was a natural progression to start designing with pebbles. My son collected a handful of pebbles at the beach one day and gave them to me in my studio. They were like tiny treasures. I had to make something special. This is what I try to capture in every picture I make. My designs include not only pebbles, but also sea glass, driftwood, moss, wire and the odd bit of pottery I find on the beach. Pretty much anything goes at this point. The only principle I try to maintain is simplicity. To say as much as I can with as little as possible. I've been an artist and designer since I was big enough to hold a pencil. It is my passion to turn ordinary objects into extraordinary works of art. I studied art at the University of Waterloo. The power of composition is a beautiful thing.
