These are new, old stock (NOS) Australian opal necklaces from the 1980 to 1990s. For sale individually.. Numbers 1,2 and 5 are still available. Bought from source committed to selling natural jewelry and in addition, description based on one expert opinion.... However, I am not an expert and can only rely on the feedback from others. Offered for sale for a low cost — opal or not these necklaces are nicely polished with earthy tones. You can choose from the ones available. These fit neatly into an 8” x 2” box. Thank you for looking.

I am familiar with & cut, shape & polish Australian boulder opal from Queensland. I work with a miner who mines directly from his own mine in NSW. I just wanted to let you know that the necklaces you're selling are made of ironstone. Boulder Opal is formed within the seams and crevices of ironstone. Since there is no Opal or play of color within this ironstone, your necklaces would be more accurately described as Australian Ironstone. I hope this helps.
