This is a 38.50 Ct lot of Natural Winton boulder opal. This lot includes 3 freeform pieces. One is a lovely shade of violet blue, another is a shade a bluish white and the third has peacock blue veins of color within the host rock. Good rough material to make into a pendant. Boulder opals are only found in Queensland, Australia. These opals are commonly cut into a freeform shape to best showcase the veins of color. The natural ironstone backing makes the opal naturally vivid and the colour so vibrant. It looks like a “natural doublet” created in nature.
