llamalucy Hi - Funny, I never noticed a hue and I have the same hat. Now that I am looking at it more closely, I think it might be the thread is yellow on one side and white on the other, so a slight yellowish hue if looking very closely. In my opinion, looks white when wearing it. Hope that helps.
