Roald Dahl's famed children's books are edited to facilitate language used for the purposes of "inclusion". Revolting Rhymes were taken off shelves after customers complained about it containing the word ' SL*T". The book of verses was first published in 1982 and retells six well-known fairy tales in a comical way. Perhaps the book is better for adults, however. In his whole collection of stories some language is seen as offensive to certain groups and the stories are being edited to reflect the times as these groups of people are being heard. Publishers new editions are culling out words like fat, ugly, stupid and retarded.
