Book: Aspects of the Novel by E.M. Forster

Paperback, 1985. Excellent used condition. One corner of the cover has a tiny fold (see pic), otherwise this is still like new. From the author of A Room with a View, Howards End, A Passage to India, and other well-known works of literature, this classic is based on a series of lectures E.M. Forster delivered at Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1927. In this book, he discusses the English language novel by using examples from texts, highlighting what he saw as the seven universal aspects of the novel: story, characters, plot, fantasy, prophecy, pattern, and rhythm.
