Boleslawiec Unikat Polish Pottery Dinner Plate Signed by Artist

Polish pottery Unikat 116 was handmade, hand painted, and signed pre 1996 as per maker’s mark. I found a duplicate pattern online (Unikat 118) described as “Forget Me Not Basket.” Looks identical to me. No chips or cracks. Excellent condition. Boleslawiec Polish pottery is made from white clay found in the riverbeds of Boleslawiec, Poland, and is known for its hand painted and hand sponge painted unique, colorful patterns and designs. Unikat, which translates as unique, is mostly signed by the individual artist who hand painted the “unique” design. The pottery has been fired at extremely high temperatures, a process that makes it extremely durable. Pottery/stoneware is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. It is lead and cadmium free.
