Hi! What is the waist situation? Is there a zipper or button or is it more of a pull on or where you can adjust based on your size?

@laurah422 it is a zipper with a hook and eye. no adjustment on the waist unless you were to have it tailored. I found it very forgiving for the size and the measurement was for the waistband at the hook and eye point.
