Bob Mackie RARE Oversized Fox Fur Stole Wrap Shawl. 9ft! Vintage Bob Mackie black fox fur stole. Crafted by Edwards-Lowell of Beverly Hills…one of the most well-known furriers in the world. Boasting clients from the golden age of Hollywood including Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell, Mae West, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana Turner, and Sammy Davis. Oversized at 110” long! And 22” width at largest point in the back. Color is listed as black, however, in direct light there are beautiful, mahogany undertones. The back has a unique mitered bias design and scalloped edge detail. In excellent vintage condition. Has been kept in cold fur storage. Pelts are soft and pliable. Wear is consistent with normal, cautious use. Shedding is minimal as expected for any vintage fur. Tone-on-tone monogram at interior that can be easily swapped by your local tailor or furrier. Pictures don’t do it justice. I tried to capture it and as much light as possible to show the detail. This oversized piece can be worn in many ways…high on the neck, low on the shoulders, draped on one shoulder, etc. There are interior pockets on both sides that help you hold it in place while wearing.
