Gorgeous Bob Mackie Boutique Vintage 1980’s Women’s Beaded and Sequin Ball Gown! No size tag on dress. I would say it’s between a size 2-4. Measurements for dress will be below. The dress was too small for the mannequin so didn’t fully close. Featuring the very famous symbol of Mardi Gras, the Fleur De Lis, all hand done in gorgeous beads and sequins with black mesh. Green, pink, purple and silver beads and sequins. Black mesh. Fitted, long sleeves with zippers at wrist and sewn on shoulder pads. Wide, bright pink sash style waistband with raw fringe at ends. Full, purple skirt with additional gathered layer around rear portion of hips Back zipper closure with hook n eye. Extra closing support bands at waist, shown in pics. The clasp needs to be re-sewn. Tiered, crinoline under skirt Excellent condition. Worn once. A few small stains on the pink sash, the fringe is a bit uneven and there are a few strings w/missing beads. ( Shown in photos.) I’m sure this can be professionally cleaned and steamed. But hardly noticeable. Rare, vintage piece of wearable art! A quality handmade gown!
