Blue Ridge Southern Pottery Nove Rose Pattern Shell Shaped Plate 9.5” Shell-shaped Plate in the "Nove Rose" pattern by Blue Ridge Southern Pottery. Manufactured by Southern Potteries Inc. This ceramic pattern, Nove Rose, features beautiful hand-painted tulips and roses in a gorgeous bouquet of pink, yellow and spring green while scallop-edged in periwinkle blue. The shell shape offers a unique texture and is known for their underglaze. Production Period: 1930s-1957 Condition: Used, but in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. On the back some mfr. glaze marks. Maker’s mark also on back. USA Collectibility: A sought-after vintage piece. Some use as a platter for goodies other collect and use as dinner plates.
