Blue Ridge - Southern Potteries, Inc. hand painted underglaze yellow & green VTG

I tried and tried to get a picture that shows the true colors on these lovely vintage plates! The flowers are a pretty golden yellow with great green leaves - the leaves are NOT black, but a wonderful shade of green. The second picture is not one of the plates I'm selling - but shows the green a little better. It's a bright true green. Both plates measure approx. 9 1/2" across and both are stamped on the back. Each one has a flea chip - see pictures #3 & 4, but are still in marvelous condition for display or to use on a gallery wall. Overall both plates are in excellent condition considering how old they are - best research shows this pattern was produced in the 1940's-50's, but some say the Yellow Nocturne pattern was made as early as the 1930's.
