Blue Bird Confectionery candy tin, produced by Harry Vincent Ltd in England

This is a vintage Blue Bird Confectionery candy tin, produced by Harry Vincent Ltd in Worcestershire, England, likely dating back to the early to mid-20th century. The company was founded in 1898 by Harry Vincent and originally made toffee called Harvino. The name was changed to Blue Bird after Vincent saw the play "The Blue Bird of Happiness".  The tin features a vibrant, multi-colored floral design with gold accents. It's a rectangular box with a separate lid and four small feet. The tins were often used for display in shops and as keepsake boxes. Blue Bird Confectionery was purchased by Ashbury Confectionery in 2002 and discontinued all lines previously made by Needler's and Blue Bird.
