If I used a sweater shaver would the pilling come off? How is the fleece inside?

@tamar0127 8th pic shows inside. I spent a while getting a lot off with my shaver, but it really is a lot of wear, and it will probably reappear after laundering again, just older but comfy, won't look new again.
