Hi! I searched the whole bag and can't see any genuine leather tag. I only see "made in Canada" and "Neiman Marcus collection" engraved on a gold badge on the interior of the bag. Sorry, I'm not sure if that helps or not.

@maestar ahh I'm sooo sorry. I just saw this question. I don't know about a binder. But several letter size manilla folders fit without ANY issue. A thick binder may be a bit bulky since it's hardsided. A thin binder im sure would be no problem.
