Black Leaf Branch Earrings

This 3" long pair of earrings are handmade from blackened metal components and tumbled stoneware shards. The shards were from a favorite hand crafted vase I made which was knocked over by a curious cat. By tumbling them for a few days and drilling holes in the smooth pieces of clay, I was able to resurrect the creativity which went into the initial making of the vase by transforming each piece into jewelry components... Tumbled shards are also wonderful carriers for essential oils!
