The mobile CardioMessenger® Smart looks like a smartphone and can be used on the go for up to 48 hours to connect patients with their physicians. CardioMessenger Smart is designed for stationary use when placed on a patient’s nightstand, as well as mobile use. It receives high-quality data from the implanted device whether it is BIOTRONIK's ICDs, CRTs, or pacemaker at night while the patient is sleeping. Once it receives the data, the CardioMessenger immediately forwards the information to the Home Monitoring Service Center using the cellular network (all) without any assistance from the patient.
