Daughter cut the painted information / brand / size because she didn't want the high crew neck look so she made it a little more of a grunge / rocker style. Shirt looked cute with some distressed jeans / shorts or whatever you'd like to wear it with. There is normal fading from multiple washes, but I always washed it inside out, in cold water, and with liquid detergent to help keep it as dark as possible. *** Disclosure *** Please look at the last 2 photos. One photo shows little punctures that are hard to tell by neckline. The last photo shows darker discoloration from fabric softener (I didn't notice until I had already thrown it and ran through the drying cycle). I applied the flash to my camera so it could pick up the imperfections. Fabric offers a generous amount of stretch and depending on your frame it can also be a little off the shoulder.
