@sunnyside88 Hi! North Western Wyoming is beautiful! I am from Sheridan which is where the mountain shot was taken, I love Sheridan. I would definitely recommend stopping there and staying over a day or more. It's been rated #1 western town. It's an artsy town of about 17k. Jackson Hole, Yellowstone Park, Cody, Buffalo.. NW parts I think you'd enjoy! I've been through Kentucky, very beautiful state! Have a fun trip!!

@sunnyside88 My friends always gave me a hard time because I always go hiking by myself to places where there are no people around (I am married now so not so much by myself anymore lol) I was never afraid tho and had no mountain lion encounters. I know they are there but I just didn't worry about it. It's good to take bear spray though just in case. I have encountered rattle snakes, but mainly in the hill country and not in the mountains.
