darkmtntreasure FYI- This is a US Navy Midshipman’s hat, like the students wear at the Naval Academy or in Naval ROTC. A Captain’s hat has a very wide gold band and lots of gold “scrambled eggs” on the brim. -KD, (Commander, US Navy, retired)
