Bergamot Brass Works 1976 Smiling MAN in the MOON Pewter Belt Buckle

This Man in the Moon belt buckle has a captivating face and smile. The round buckle was made in 1976 by Bergamot Brass Works of Wisconsin. The metal looks like pewter though it's probably a metal alloy in a silvertone patina that's oxidized with detailed 3D features of this smiling face. The buckle measures 2 1/2 inches each way. It's hefty...weighs 160 grams, just over 5 ounces. Back has a swivel belt holder that will take a belt that's up to 1 3/4 inches wide. The pin knob on the other side goes into the belt hole. Included is a belt screw in case you don't have a modern belt with snaps. Back is hallmarked MADE IN USA - BERGAMOT BRASS WORKS - and their hallmark logo. Moon Man looks gently unused with nice patina which is why he's still smiling. Unique belt buckle featuring a smiling moon face. Perfect for adding a whimsical touch to any outfit.
