This rustic stoneware cream jug was made in Australia by the renowned Bendigo Pottery. It is decorated in the earthen brown colour commonly associated with this period of Bendigo pottery. The jug is the perfect size for serving cream, milk or sauces.
Bendigo Pottery's history goes back the the 1850s when the potter George Duncan Guthrie left Scotland for Australia to chase his fortune in the Victorian Gold Rush. Instead of finding gold he noticed rich deposits of clay.
