The dark square at the knee is NOT an extra piece of fabric sewn on. It is just the original blue color of the jeans before the manufacturer faded them. Very cool design. There is some stretch to the fabric. 85%cotton, 13% poly, 2% spandex. Inseam 29 inches. Rise 9 inches. Across waist 16 inches.
