@zeitzs Hi! So I’m actually a narrow 8-8.5–I’m selling these for my sister who is usually a 9.5 and, like your experience, these were too small for her. I put them on with a fairly thin sock and they’re definitely big, but not as oversized as I would expect: I would say I have an extra inch at the toe and they’re loose around my foot (because I’m a narrow). With a thick sock, it might be negligibly big and if you are an 8.5-9, it may end up perfect.

@jbyerly23 thank you so so much! The 8.5 I bought has lots of room in the toe so I think a 9.5 would be too long with the measurement you provided. They are just really narrow. Good luck! They are gorgeous boots! I want them lol
