beautyantedote Why so much for something you have already used/played in? I get that it’s sold out but to rise the price on used makeup insane.

catsmeow44 @beautyantedote Because of the fees to sell on here, there is a significant gap between the cost paid by the buyer and what actually goes to the seller. Plus I always add a couple extra dollars as wiggle room for offers. Offering less than half of asking price, that's just plain disrespectful. I appreciate you shooting your shot, as you never know what people will say yes to, but personally I just don't negotiate with lowballing, I just respectfully decline, especially if it's a rare/HTF item.

beautyantedote What I see as a consumer is a hiked up price for a used item. Had your item been new with no flaws I would of paid the asking price ,but it’s not it’s used! So I made an offer based on the original price and factoring in fact that the palette has been used.I wasn’t low balling you I’ve bought plenty of beauty bay palettes from this platform at the asking price or very close to the asking price. The price we pay includes shipping and taxes too so that’s neither here nor there.

catsmeow44 @beautyantedote I agree, this platform is not the best (in terms of fees) out of all the vending platforms I use, but it's a good one to have in the mix since people are on here looking for the kinds of items I have.

catsmeow44 @beautyantedote If you want this palette in new condition, then keep searching around 'cause this is what I have available. I'll come down on price a little, but it's ultimately about supply & demand. Since there's not many of this palette left, it's worth more than when it was first launched and there were tons available. I've bought plenty of palettes or lipsticks that more (even used) than when they first launched, just because they were rare at the time I wanted it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

beautyantedote @catsmeow44 it’s not that I want it new. It’s used and I can’t see myself spending twice the amount on something that has been used. I understand it’s a rare find but it’s still used. That’s my issue if it was new I wouldn’t have an issue spending whatever the asking price was. Or if the price was more reasonable for something used than I Wally’s also buy it. Hope that makes sense.
