Beautiful hand embroidered cashmere shawl made in Kashmir, india. Sold for 800 dollars at boutiques. Famous kani work that’s intricate, rich and exquisite. Different pieces have different artwork. This has peacocks; the other ones are tree of life and Mughal art. Doesn’t have tags cuz it’s made by artisans. The last two pics are the back of the shawl

pny2019s @mandydesai is there a tag which says it is wool or cashmere because you mention this is embroidered but kani is not an embroidery - it is a weaving technique. Thank you

mandydesai @pny2019s There isn’t. There are others with the tag and they cost 600$ like the ones sold at Neiman marcus. This was bought from an artisanal complex. It’s called kani work and that’s what I said. I’m not the weaver; I’m just the buyer of 9 shawls and I overdid it so I’m unloading 3 or 4.

pny2019s @mandydesai sorry I misunderstood because your title says beautiful hand embroidered shawl and there is no hand embroidery- do you have others with the tag? I hope you understand as a purchaser I want to ensure it is wool and not a poly wool blend
