All items came out of my closets and a few from my moms. This task was over due I have so many items I never used or only worn a couple of times. now I have extra time on my hands and decided to go for it.

My name is Patty. May I offer you a few suggestions? By the way, what’s your name? When you list an item, you’ve already said what it is in the title. You don’t have to put it in the description. You should actually describe it by putting in measurements, fabric content.

pattyjune8 Take as many pics as you need; front, back, the tag with fabric content, tag with brand, measurements shown with tape measure, any flaws, rips, stains. If there are no flaws, mention that in description. If it’s in great condition, state it. Ensure your listings look nice, not super wrinkled. Take your pics in a non-cluttered area. All your pics in your closet look great! Just more of a description! Good luck!

kj176 @pattyjune8 that’s now that you mentioned it someone did reach out to me. Question… where can I get the signs for taking offers on a sale or bundle? My name is Kimber go by Kim my job was eliminated in March after working for 36 years. I now help take care of my mom and look after other elderly people when needed taking then to the store or shopping lunch company for them . Not sure if I will be going back to the work field next year or take an early retirement.

pattyjune8 @kj176 Hi Kim! What you need to do for the signs is get an app from the store on your phone. There are many different apps. I’ll get back to you what I use. Senior moment! Can’t remember! In the meantime, go through my closet & use any of mine. Take a screenshot of whichever ones you want. It will automatically go into your photos. Then you post it like you would the pics of your items. If you have ??’s just ask me. I’ll have an answer for you….I hope!🤔😊

pattyjune8 @kj176 I’m so sorry your job was eliminated. Wow! After 36 years working there too! It’s good you’re there to attend to & take care of your mom though. My oldest son moved from CT to here in Fla. to take care of things that my hubby & I can’t anymore. A couple years later my youngest son & his family moved from Vancouver to here too! The oldest bought a house almost around the corner & the youngest lives about 5 minutes away! I’m fortunate & blessed! As your mom is to have you!🙏🏼🥰👍🏼💖

kj176 @pattyjune8 🥳 Happy New Year! Question... why is it that after the customer received their items they don't give you an overall rating? All of my items are new or only used or worn 1 to 2x time excellent condition . Some not all don't give me a rating. Does this happen to you too?

pattyjune8 @kj176 You are not given a rating at all? Do you get your money deposited in your posh account? In order to get your payment, you have to get a rating. Have you not received any ratings from your sales? Of course after so many days, if you don’t get a rating, Poshmark will put your payment in your acct. anyway. That happened to me once or twice. LMK!

pattyjune8 @kj176 That’s unusual, but Poshmark takes note of it & the buyer gets a note from them telling them to rate their purchase. If they don’t then posh waits a few days & releases your money. It’s just unfortunate that you end up not get a rating. I see you’re selling though! That’s great! Your closet looks very nice! I’m following you & will keep coming back to share & purchase when something hits my eye!! Happy New Year!🎊

kj176 @pattyjune8 ok will do thanks. Shipping is expensive when a person is ordering only 1 item under 15:00. With tax and shipping cost it's not worth purchase items unless you are getting more than 1 item and the deal is too good to pass up.

kj176 How's does it work when you receive an email saying drop your prices and the buyer will receive a discount on shipping? If I go in now and drop my price how do I know the person received a discount? How much of a discount will they get?

pattyjune8 @kj176 I’ve never done that so I’m not sure what kind of shipping discount the buyer gets. Probably the 4.99 or 5.95. If I offer a buyer a shipping discount it could be either one or if it’s a good sale I offer free shipping. I also give a 20% discount it they bundle 2 or more items, all depending what my price is on them. It is a business after all & we, as sellers should expect to make a decent price. I hate it when something is listed at say $13, 14 & someone offers 5-6 bucks!
