Beautiful Vintage Jewelry Box- Made in Italy- B. Altman NYC

Beautiful cognac leather jewelry box with gold embossed details inside and out. Brass closure. I believe this box dates from the 40s or 50s. B. Altman was a department store in New York City that opened in 1906. They sold this beautiful Italian Box. I believe this is excellent vintage condition, some wear due to vintage age. Would make a lovely and special gift! Beautiful burnt orange velvet lining. Box measures 9”long, 6”width, 2”height.
